Check-In with Cleo!

Cleo joined Tamara in her home back in April, and we’re back to check on her progress!

Cleo is a 14″ Standard Tree Fiddle Leaf Fig and she is THRIVING!

Tamara knows how to care for a Fiddle, placing her right next to a large window, Cleo was bound to do well.

Tamara shared, “Just wanted to give you an update on how Cleo is doing. She seems to be thriving in her location. I’ve got the watering schedule down now so all is good. I spoil her with a morning spritz every day! Thanks so much for all your help!”

Also know as a Ficus lyrata, the Fiddle Leaf Fig is famous for needing lots of natural light, the perfect amount of water, and overall, a little more attention than your average greens!

We have to mention, Tamara uses a soil sleuth to keep Cleo looking this good!

The PLANTZ team can’t wait for Cleo’s next check-in!

Lisa Cane Makes it to Michigan

PLANTZ is always pleased to see our customers and their satisfaction when they finally get their hands on the greens!

Karen recently received her Lisa Cane all the way in Birmingham, Michigan and she could not be happier.

The Lisa Cane is from the Dracaena family, and happens to be one of the lowest light requirements of all of our PLANTZ! It also made the trek all the way from Hawaii, so Lisa is used to lower water levels.

Karen did a lovely job potting her Lisa Cane, and even added some of our Fiberex American Moss into the mix to perfect the presentation.

We can’t wait for an update on this flexible foliage!

PLANTZ Arrive in A-Town

Katy was over the moon when she received her PLANTZ package! She just moved to Atlanta and her family wanted to make sure she felt right at home – which is why they sent her a fabulous Fiddle Leaf Fig!

Also known as the ‘it’ plant, this popular plant makes the absolute perfect housewarming present.

Katy looks like a professional since she already found her Fiddle a fancy spot in front of her big window!

A Lady Palm in the Lone Star State

Bo just received his big and beautiful Hawaiin Rhapis Palm!

Also known as the Lady Palm, this bold beauty made it all the way to the Lone Star State of Texas straight from the islands of Hawaii!

Bo ordered the 14″ Rhapis for his home, and with medium light and frequent soil checks, this tropical tree will flourish.

He made sure to perfect his palm with a pretty planter (A Strong Clay Bottom Radius) and Fiberex American Moss.

We love the open space Bo chose for his plant, leaving plenty of room for Rhapis growth!

Bo sent us a picture and added, “She’s beautiful!  Thank you!”

Linda’s Light Lover

A Fiddle Leaf Fig just touched down in Modesto, California.

Linda is excited to start her houseplant parent journey and we are excited to watch it unfold.

As we know, the Fiddle Leaf Fig is a high-light lover and requires a bright space, preferably near a window.

Thanks to our delicate packaging and shipping method, Linda’s Ficus arrived all the way on the west coast safe and sound.

A Dragon Plant Delivered to DC

Tessa recently received one of the best surprises of them all!

Her friend surprised her with a beautifully braided Marginata. The anonymous altruist chose a 14″ Open Braid Marginata for Tessa, and we are in love.

This medium-light lover will thrive near a window with filtered light and prefers dry soil. Also known as a Dragon Plant, the Dracaena Marginata is a popular pick for many plant lovers.

Tessa is so excited to become a Marginata Mom, and we can’t wait for updates! Take a look at their first #plantselfie together!

The It Plant Takes New York

Louis’s Fiddle Leaf Fig Bush just arrived in Albany, NY and it already looks fantastic!

The Ficus Lyrata bush is full of violin-shaped foliage that adds an amazing element to any room it is placed in! It is no surprise why interior designers and homeowners adore this ‘it’ plant!

Louis also ordered our PlantAssure Sub-Irrigation system to ensure his fig lives its best life, free of any watering confusion! Good call!

The Fiddle is placed perfectly next to a window with lots of light! We are loving the huge bright green leaves coming from Louis’ bush and we can’t wait to keep up with its growth.

Louis shared a picture of his newest plant with the caption, “Sue, it’s beautiful!  Thanks!  The window faces southwest so it gets lots of sun!”

A Taste of Paradise

Lania’s White Bird of Paradise just made it to Maryland!

Her piece of paradise arrived in perfect condition!

Lania is loving her plant, she chose a 10″ White Bird of Paradise to taste the tropics in the Old Line State.

The White Bird is a light lover, so her summertime pick should thrive next to a window!

We LOVE the #PlantSelfie Lania sent us and we can tell the plant is smiling, too!

We adore the planter she chose and PLANTZ cannot wait to keep up with Lania and her plant.

A Monstera Makes it to The Lone Star State

Aicardo is loving his new Monstera!

The Split-Leaf Philodendron arrived a little over a week ago, and he is already seeing new growth.

This is a 10″ Monstera, but something tells us this guy is going to get huge!

Houston is the perfect place to raise a Monstera since it is known as Space City, and NASA declared that large leaf Philodendrons, lie Monsteras, have air-purifying properties!

Aicardo already knows they love medium to bright light, which is why his new baby is thriving! We love the window spot he chose.

Aicardo shared:

“It has been a week or so since we got the monstera and I wanted to send over a picture of how beautiful it looks. We even have new growth coming in on the stalks!”

We cannot wait to keep up with the growth of this Monstera!

Chris and the Compacta

Chris and his adorable pup are enjoying their newest addition, a JC Compacta in a 12″ grow pot!

The JCC fits perfectly in his polished planter.

JC Compacta’s are a variation of the Dracaena Janet Craig.

The Compacta can deal with low light but does best in medium to bright light and does not like to get drowned in water.

Chris’s Compacta is going to thrive next to the filtered light, continue to grow, and keep its deep green shading.

The Evergreen State Gets Greener

An Areca Palm has made its way to Washington state.

The 10″ Butterfly Palm blew the birthday girl away when she laid eyes on her new plant!

These palms love bright light so they have the right idea by placing this baby by a big window.

healthy. We will both order more from your company! Thank you so much for your excellent customer service as well.”

Thank you so much, Yvette!

We are so glad to gift greens that the whole family loves. We can’t wait for an update.

A Parlor Palm Lands in The Great Lake State

Jessica’s Parlor Palm has made its way to its forever home in Michigan.

The Parlor Palm, also known as a Neanthe Bella Palm, is an overachieving plant!

The palm ranks as one of NASA’s top 50 indoor plants that act as air purifiers, and it doubles as one of the best palms for lower light conditions. We can see why Jessica needed this baby, who doesn’t?

Jessica made her Neanthe Bella right at home by placing it in a Phoenix Cylinder planter!
